Come join us for these public workshops introducing our Planting Seeds gardening resource. We will be offering these as FREE drop-in evenings for those passionate about gardening in the Yukon. Each week we will cover a new topic following the progression of growing in the Yukon.
Monday June 9th- Planting Seeds, Planning Module. Learn how to consider your environment and your specific needs when planning and plotting your garden retreat.
Monday June 16th- Containers and Structures Module. Learn the considerations of materials, size and capacity when building garden structures. Everything from raised beds to greenhouses.
Tuesday June 24th- Containers and Structures Module Part 2. Making found objects into small growing spaces.
Monday June 30th- Soil Module. Learn the importance of healthy soil and how to build a solid foundation for your bedding plants.
Monday July 7th- Planting Module. Learn all the principles to maximize your yield and utilize your growing space fully.
Snacks and beverages will be be provided.
